This workshop is intended for the European PIMS (Personal Information Management Services) community. It follows a previous meeting in Brussels (Nov. 27, 2015) and will be followed by two other meetings in Helsinki (Sep. 2, during the MyData 2016 Conference) and London (December).

Workshop 1: Sharing and mapping PIMS use cases [facilitator: Fing] - Goal: To start building a typology and a collaborative repository of PIMS use cases, in order to (1) Develop a common understanding of the value of PIMS, (2) Accelerate innovation.

Participants are invited to submit as many (planned and actual) use cases as possible prior to the workshop, using this form

Workshop 2: Towards a collective White Book on PIMS to be published before the end of 2016 [facilitator: HIIT] - See Invitation to Contribute

After a presentation of a 1st draft of a detailed outline and editorial concept, we will discuss what sort of collective publication the PIMS community needs at this stage, and how to produce it.

Workshop 3: Technical & R&D issues [facilitator: HIIT]

Based on the mapping presented by Antti Poikola on November 27 (see slides 8 and 13), we will discuss key technical/architectural issues that the PIMS community needs to work on collectively, either in terms of R&D (solving problems), advocacy (lobbying for a specific solution), etc.

Possible outcomes: publications, R&D projects, etc.

Workshop 4: Sharing and mapping PIMS business models [facilitator: Without Model]

Participants are invited to submit as many PIMS business models as possible prior to the workshop

We will start by mapping existing and planned business models, using the following typology (currently in French, translation coming!) as a starting point and refining it together

Then we will collectively decide what output we intend to produce in the following months, how, for whom, and who is ready to contribute to it.

This session is a last chance to contribute to defining the program of the MyData 2016 Conference (Helsinki, Aug. 31- Sep. 2), since the Call for sessions will have been closed in early April.

Speed Dating and Micro-Meetings: Participants can require either space to discuss common projects, or one-on-one meetings with other participants

One micro-meeting will gather participants willing to work towards preparing from the EC Call for Projects on Personal Data, planned for end 2017-early 2018
